Neasi-Weber International is a leading developer of business applications for the publishing industry, and has offices in both Valencia, California and Houston, Texas. NWI has immediate openings for the following positions:

Data Warehouse Designer
Develop in a Data Warehouse environment included but not limited to Business Objects XI and Informatica 8. Must have technical expertise and be involved in portions of the analysis phase of the application development cycle. Work with little supervision on the analysis, design, coding, and testing components of larger systems. Prior experience with offshore development teams is a plus.

Individual Skills
Design, implement and support data warehousing. Implement business rules via stored procedures, middle ware, or other technologies. Define user interfaces and functional specifications. Verify accuracy of data, and maintain and support the data warehouse.

Data Modeling
Source system understanding and profiling. Design and implementation of data mart models. Map source system models and data mart models. Design, develop and maintain ETL code. Defines and captures metadata and rules for ETL.

ETL Development
Design, develop, test, and support ETL applications using Informatica and other ETL tools. Document the data schema, process flow, and the development standards. Perform data analysis to develop the interfaces that transform the data from various source systems to meet the analytical applications and reporting requirements. Perform data cleansing using SQL or third party tools.

Business Objects
Develop Business Objects reports and queries. Install and configure Business Objects in large scale multi-clustered environments. Install and setup Business Objects Server and Desktop products. Design, develop and administer BO

Software Engineer/Java Architect
Join a dynamic development team on a major Java, Oracle-based client server application. Work with Business Analysts to create the Data and Object Model for the application. Lead a team of developers to implement the Object Model within an Application Server Architecture.

Individual Skills
Applicants should have 2-4 years of experience in Java/J2EE design and development. Knowledge of RMI communications and JCA connection management a plus.

Software Quality Assurance Tester
This position requires a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills who is detail-oriented and can work independently & meet deadlines. Software testing & testing tools experience is necessary. Publishing industry knowledge is a plus.

Product Consultant
This position requires the ability to think clearly, analyze information quickly and accurately and present concepts and information effectively. Candidates need a minimum of 3 years of software project/product management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Initiative and the ability to self-manage are a must. Travel is required.

Project Manager
This position requires the ability to think clearly, analyze information quickly and accurately and present concepts and information effectively. Candidates need a minimum of 3 years of software project/product management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Initiative and the ability to self-manage are a must. Travel is required. Knowledge of business software (MS Office, Project, etc.) and Oracle databases is a plus. Accounts receivable and/or publishing industry knowledge is also a plus.

Work with a variety of software professionals - Business Analysts, Software Designers, Programmers, etc. on a wide range of projects from new development through implementing established applications at client sites.

Individual Skills
Candidates must have 3 years of software project management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills requires knowledge of business software (MS Office, Project, etc.) desirable. Publishing industry knowledge a plus. Prior experience in an offshore development environment also a plus.
